“Our guide Ryan was fantastic - very knowledgable about the area and the culture as he grew up on the floating houses around the bay. Kayaking was great fun as was swimming to a small beach. Lunch was excellent - lots to eat and lots of choice! Only downside was the litter in parts of the bay.”

“This tour was excellent. We were picked up on time and taken to our boat. Our guide Ryan was local and so interesting to talk to. He pointed out wildlife as we went through the bay. We stopped for a swim and jumping off the boat. Then had a nice meal before kayaking. Ryan guided us around the islands to see the phosphorescence, it was magical.”

“Had a great evening kayaking with the bioluminescent plankton! The trip was well organised, dinner on the boat was good and kayaking at night and seeing the plankton glow was really special. They weren't super bright (photos have been brightened) but still easy to spot with a bit of splashing and swirling your paddle in the water.”

“We had an amazing cruise with Ryan in Lan Ha Bay: he is a very committed and knowledgeable guide. At 76, I had never kayaked before and thought that I wouldn’t be able to do it. However, Ryan and the other six ‘cruisers’ were all doing it, so I just had to go for it. It was quite magical and a wonderful experience.”

Tôi là người sáng lập Cat Ba Beyond, đồng thời là hướng dẫn viên địa phương với hơn 10 năm kinh nghiệm. Tôi sinh ra và lớn lên trên đảo Cát Bà, nơi biển cả luôn là một phần trong cuộc sống hằng ngày của tôi.
Tôi đã có nhiều năm sống trên nhà nổi, vừa nuôi trồng thủy hải sản, vừa đánh bắt cùng những cộng đồng trên vịnh. Quãng thời gian đó giúp tôi hiểu từng con nước, câu chuyện và nếp sống mà du khách hiếm khi có cơ hội khám phá.
Tôi tạo ra Cat Ba Beyond với mong muốn vừa trở thành một người bạn bản địa, vừa là cầu nối đưa bạn đến gần hơn với những người vẫn đang mưu sinh trên biển. Hãy để những người con của biển đảo chúng tôi giúp bạn có những trải nghiệm chân thật và đáng nhớ nhất tại Cát Bà.
